POSITION ONE: Fundraising Consultant
If you have experience working at a nonprofit organization, enjoy working on a team, and would like to develop serious fundraising and project management skills, then this is an ideal position for you. Aaron Consulting works directly with the board and executives of our clients, who depend on us for expert advice and flawless project and event execution. The application must be comfortable working with high-level executives, philanthropists and donors and have a genuine interest in New York’s charity scene.

This position will support several large gala events and year-round work for clients who contract with Aaron Consulting Company to provide fundraising and development support for all of their activities. Tasks range from the mundane to the creative, the ordinary to the extraordinary.

POSITION TWO: Wireless Auction Manager
Do you thrive on cutting edge technology, and helping support charity events? If you are an outgoing professional with experience working in event production, customer service, staffing and/or have tech start-up experience this could be the position for you.

Our cutting edge ibidmobile.net and textgiving.com team is looking for an associate to manage our charity auction events. This position demands a high level of client service, event staff recruiting and management, database work and ability to work multiple events a week during our busy seasons. Attention to detail is extremely important. You will be using state-of-the art systems.

Qualifications
Poise and confidence is required. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required. The ability to speak and write clearly is very important. Proficiency with database management is intrinsic to the job, though specific training will be provided. A sense of humor is always welcome.

Office Life
Aaron Consulting is headquartered in the landmark district Park Slope Brooklyn, on a floor of an old brownstone. Though we take our work very seriously, life at the office is generally laid back. The office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Your schedule can be arranged with some flexibility. It is typically any eight hours between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. including a one hour lunch. Late night and weekend work is rarely required, except on "Show Days" when we need all staff for a major benefit event. There are also numerous ibidmobile.net auction events and training sessions, where you might be required to work late or travel. Employees are paid additionally for this time or given additional paid leave. Currently we have five full-time staffers working in the office.

Compensation
The salary is $30,000 to $33,000 per year though, we'll consider paying more for someone with significant experience. We offer a fully paid medical plan for full-time employees. Paid leave includes 4 weeks of vacation, 10 holidays, and 7 sick days per year. You also may have the opportunity to work at our auction events, which are held in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and other major cities, for which you are paid for overtime. Some employees add 10% to 20% to their pay by working at these events.
